Susan Wohlford, MS, CCC-SLP



   Susan began working at the Center in February 2009. She graduated from James Madison University in 1998, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She brings ten years of speech-language experience to the Center, working in a variety of settings with both children and adults. Susan worked in a school system for five years providing services to children with articulation and/or phonological disorders, language delays/disorders, and fluency disorders for ages Pre-K through 12th grade. Another five years was dedicated to working with adults suffering from neurologically based communication disorders such as dysphagia (swallowing), aphasia, and apraxia. She enjoys working with young children who have articulation and phonological disorders, language delays or disorders, and adults with neurologically based communication disorders.
